Dear Principal Sir/Ma’am,

We all have achieved many successes, crossed milestones and created memorable benchmarks in life, using our Problem Solving skills, which get strengthened over a period of time and with experience.

 

We wish if we can enable our young learners, understand, experience and make them aware of this wonderful skill of Problem Solving at an early stage. With your help, we wish to enlighten them on a learning experiential path, that can help them develop the skill over coming years.

We invite your school and students of grade 6 to 9,  to participate in HCL JIGSAW 7.0 - India's Biggest Problem Solving Competition.

 

HCL JIGSAW 7.0 is not only a Problem Solving Competition, it also helps students understand the approach and method to Problem Solving.

 

Students participate as a team and use a Project Based Learning approach, to solve a given real life challenge.

 

The whole activity is designed to make them experience the importance of progressive thinking, innovative mindset, becoming a contributing team player and also an effective team leader. They learn to make decisions, which are fact based, research oriented and learn how to apply effective solutions.

 

• Eligibility – Students of Class 6 to 9

• Levels –  03 Levels (details as below)

• Mode – All rounds are ONLINE (can be attempted from laptop/ desktop/mobile)

• Student enrolment is through schools.

• Last date to enroll students : 25th Aug

 

Round 1 : Before 30 Sep

Submit one team presentation on any one topic

Round 2 : Before 30 Oct

Submit a prototype, app or design-thinking document and a video, explaining the project.

Round 3 : Pre Jury : 10 Nov

Internal assessment by HCL JIGSAW team

Round 4 : Grand Finale

Online zoom presentation to jury : 18 Nov (Grade 6 and 7)

Online zoom presentation to jury : 19 Nov ( Grade 8 and 9 )

Live You tube Result Webinar : 22 Nov

 

A prize pool of  ₹12 Lakhs, for Winners and Runners, and appreciation e certificates for all participants. It is an opportunity for schools to be highlighted at National Level, with recognition of Innovation School Trophy, Certificates, media highlights, principal testimonial showcase and mementos to teachers and principals.
