We are delighted to invite your esteemed institution to participate in HCL Jigsaw 7.0, a prestigious pan-India competition aimed at identifying and nurturing India’s top young problem solvers.
HCL JIGSAW 7.0 a prestigious and unique attempt to spread awareness on Problem Solving And Critical Thinking, using Project Based Learning (PBL) approach. It aims to identify and award India’s Top Young Problem Solvers.
Project-Based Learning (PBL) is one of the effective ways to help learners think critically, act independently, and handle real-world challenges. Students will learn about the importance of 21st century skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, research, collaboration and communication skill which will help them apply these to solve real-world challenges.
We, Twinning Owl, are appointed as National School Service Partner and will support schools nationwide in effectively implementing the initiative, enriching the student's learning journey

About Competition

Eligibility: All students of grade 6th to 9th

Mode: All 05 rounds are ONLINE and can be attempted from mobile or laptop or a tab.

Learning content and Online Expert Sessions will be available for all projects.

About HCL JIGSAW 7.0
HCL JIGSAW 7.0 inspires students to explore, ideate, and innovate through real-world challenges—shifting learning from passive theory to active problem-solving with Project-Based Learning (PBL).
Round 1 – Idea Ignition - (01st June to 31st Aug)
Each grade will be given 04 themes as below. They can choose any 03 to complete Round1.
Each theme will have one project each for grade 6, 7, 8 and 9. The project topic and learning content will be shared with students in their portals.
Theme 1: AI Revolution & Digital Futures
Theme 2: Climate Action & Sustainable Energy
Theme 3: Medical Innovation & Smart Healthcare
Theme 4: Robotics, Automation & Smart Manufacturing
Student teams can complete Round 1 in any of the month in June, July or August.
Students learn importance of roles, teamwork, importance of research, collaboration to solve real world challenges
From each of the 04 zones, Top 10%ile teams, per grade will qualify for Round 2
Round 2 – Shape Your Idea (30th Sep)
Teams will pick any one project to create a design document in the provided template.
Students will learn the importance of critical thinking and designing a sustainable solution.
From each of the 04 zones, Top 10%ile teams, per grade will qualify for Round 3
Round 3 – Pitch Perfect - Video Pitch Submission (26th Oct)
Teams will create a video, explaining the project and its solution.
Students will learn importance of communication, negotiations, teamwork
From each of the 04 zones, Top 10 teams, per grade qualify for Pre Jury
Pre Jury (05th Nov): Internal assessment by HCL JIGSAW. Top 04 teams, per grade, Nationally will qualify for Finale
Grand Finale (22 Nov) : Finalist teams will present the project to the HCL JIGSAW Jury team
