To encourage development of our students’ innovative skills, we are happy to inform, that our school is participating in HCL JIGSAW 7.0 a prestigious and unique attempt to spread awareness on Problem Solving And Critical Thinking, using Project Based Learning (PBL) approach.​​​

​​​Project-Based Learning (PBL) is one of the effective ways to help learners think critically, act independently, and handle real-world challenges. Students will learn about the importance of 21st century skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, research, collaboration and communication skill which will help them apply these to solve real-world challenges.

 

Students will receive online video learning content and expert sessions to guide on the projects. Online mentor support will be available in student portal.

 

We are pleased to inform that your ward is eligible to participate and represent the school. This is not related to Maths or Coding, but relates to the ability to think, ideate and solve. It’s a Free registration and no fees is to be paid for any round.

 

Round 1 - Project Worksheets Submission (01st June to 31st Aug)

Each team will complete 03 projects, online.

Students learn importance of roles, teamwork, importance of research, collaboration to solve real world challenges

From each of the 04 zones, Top 10%ile teams, per grade will qualify for Round 2

Round 2 - Design Thinking (30th Sep)

Teams submit a prototype, app design, or design-thinking pitch for one project.

Students will learn the importance of critical thinking and designing a sustainable solution.

From each of the 04 zones, Top 10%ile teams, per grade will qualify for Round 3

Round 3 - Video Pitch Submission (26th Oct)

Teams will create a video, explaining the project and its solution.

Students will learn importance of communication, negotiations, teamwork

From each of the 04 zones, Top 10 teams, per grade qualify for Pre Jury

Pre Jury ( 05th Nov)

Internal assessment by HCL JIGSAW. Top 04 teams, per grade, Nationally will be selected for Grand Finale

Grand Finale (22 Nov)

Finalist teams will present the project to the HCL JIGSAW Jury team

​​

Rewards And Recognition

• One Winner team per grade and 02 Runners Up team per grade will be announced.

• Prize purse of Rs.12 Lakhs, for the Winners And Runners team in form of gifts and gadgets.

• HCL Innovation Lab visit for Winner students.

• E-Certificate of Participation.

HCL JIGSAW is conducted once a year. Over 5 lakh students participated from different schools, across India, last year. It is a grand opportunity to represent your school and to showcase your talent at a National Level.
